Significant Improvements To Processing Stock Receipts
eAccounts has made some significant changes in respect to streamlining the stock receipting process..
a) Customers that don't use the Packing Slip stage now have the options removed.
b) Wording has been updated to clarify the processes.
c) Unnecessary options have been deleted.
d) The ability to specify a Creditor Invoice in foreign dollars has been added.
Price Changes / New Product Report
The Price Changes report (Stock Reports Menu) has been modified to also list New Stock Items.
This is a useful option as sometimes you need to check "What's been added over ther past week while I was away?" or "did all those new widgets get loaded? "
Stock Orders - Saving Notes & Attaching PDF's to an Order
The Supplier enquiry has been improved to allow saving notes and uploading PDF's against a supplier order.
This is a very powerful new feature particularly to businesses who process large international orders as you can now record notes concerning all correspondence and also save scans of WayBills, Customs clearances, Freight documentation and MAF Documents all against the order as PDF's. Then at anytime you can click on a supplier order and redisplay all the related documentation.
Downloading Bank Data for Bank Reconciliation - Greatly Simplified
The process of doing Bank Recs which many of you do daily has now been streamlined.
Previously after you downloaded the bank data (from your bank software) you had to rename it and then email it to our server for importing and wait for it to download.
These processes have now been simplified:
a) Download your bank data
b) Go into eAccounts and use the new load button when creating a banking batch to directly import the file from your PC.
There is now no need to rename or email the file.
Asset Register
There will shortly be a new help topic on how to setup and use the Asset Register which many of you are currently not using.
GST Report Now Easier !
The GST Report has now been improved to make it clearer on how to fill in the Govt GST return form.
