JustOneClick For Suppliers
Many of you are familiar with the powerful "Just One Click" system we have so your customers can access their invoices, statements and purchases. We have now taken this technology to a new level.
We now proudly announce that we can offer "Just One Click" for Suppliers. This allows suppliers you trust to raise their own orders based on your Current Minimum and Maximum qty's set. Supermarkets work on the same principals where many suppliers are responsible for keeping their products on your shelves stocked.
This option works "Hand in Hand" with the automation of Min/Max levels (read the help topic on this)
Whilst you come to trust this feature you can set the Supplier to several options :
a) look only.
b) Create order but save for you to confirm.
c) Allow supplier complete control to generate and send order.
Please note the supplier can NEVER order more than Maximum recommendation (which is set by you)
Just think of the big time saving to you have some of your suppliers managing your ordering.
Price Points By Stock Item
Under Stock Enquiry is a new button. When you display a Stock item it is great to see you sold X of them and made an average margin of Y but what different sell prices did we sell this item at ?
Now there is a button called "Price Points" click this and it will break down all your sales by the different selling prices used. You can even drill down a further layer and split the sales by the customer price level (ie Cash Sales, Trade 1, Trade 2 etc) .
Min/Max Suspend Option While Item On Special
The automated Min/Max calculations has been further improved by the ability to "Tag" an item to be temporarily set to manual. When an item is going to be put on "monthly specials list" the Min/Max levels you will need to have in your store will need to change.
This new feature allows you to set a particular stock item to be "Set Manual Until Special Expires" this feature allows you to set the Min/Max to be manually calculated before or whilst an item is on specials but then have it automatically go back to automatically be calculated when the special expires.
Multiple Specials Pages in Shopping Basket
Our shopping basket program (for those of you who sell goods over the web) has historically had one Specials Page. We now have the ability in the Stock Master to set a unique specials page against each stock item in the Stock Master. If the field "Specials iPage" is left blank then the Specials will show on the default Specials iPage.
This feature allows you to have a multiple monthly specials pages ie
Whiskeys On Specials This Month and Red Wines on Specials This Month
Or
Timber on Specials this month and Tools on Special this month.
More Powerful Searching (Maintain Special Stock Words)
The Shopping basket Search engine has been significantly overhauled to be more intuitive and to allow it to cope with some unique problems. The search engine deliberately ignores words less than 4 characters, this rule works in 99% of search cases but fails on when you search for Rum, Gin, Tap, Cat, Kit etc. To overcome this there is new database called "Special Stock Words" if you add these words (3 letters or less) in here they will be searchable.
Another feature is to deal with Maori and Foreign languages that have words with spaces in them ie Te Kowiha, Te Awamutu, Te Kopu if you try searching these you wont find them because TE is only two chrs and is ignored. To overcome this in the same new Maintenance file add the word "TE" and specify it's a "Conjunctive" word. The you can search for your favorite "Te Kopu" red wine !
Loading Bin Locs When Stocktaking
When doing stock takes in eAccounts you now have the ability to import Bin locations as you go. Often you find when doing a stock take by Bin location, that you have a product that has shifted, this new feature now easily deals with this issue. This feature, and the ability to map a new Barcode to a product, are new features in the new release of ePos (about to be released)
Update Cost On Increases Only
When receipting in an invoice from a supplier you can now elect to update Costs only on price increase. Historically your options have been update costs or not. This new feature means your sell prices are only going to increased on a price increase to you and not on a price reduction to you.
Margin Grid Price Breaks
Many of you use the powerful Margin Grid feature to manage the markups, margins and discounts in your stock database. We have now extended this feature dramatically by splitting the table into three columns by providing you two price breaks.
This means you can gave a Margin Grid for say "Bathroom Products" and then have price breaks at say $30 and $100 then you can have different markups for items less than $30, between $30 and $100 and over $100. Previously you would have need three separate Margin grids to achieve the same result. This new feature simplifies things
