Stock - Date Last Purchased
In the stock master on the line below 'Costs', we now show two dates.
The date we last purchased stock and the date the 'Purchase Cost' last changed.
i.e. Last Purchased = 12/04/2005, Purchase Cost Last Changed = 12/06/2005.
Help System - New Help Files!
Our newest employee, Conscience has been thrown in the deep end. He has been concentrating on getting our help documentation up to date. You will see that the new help files have a clear, consistent look and feel. Each topic now opens a new browser window and includes related hyper-linked topics and links directly to the program pages in eAccounts.
Currently he is creating three to four new topics a day. If you have ideas of possible new topics that you would like to see, please let us know.
You can access the Help screens from the main eAccounts menu.
Debtors - Receipting Debtors
When receipting debtors the system will now show 'Inv Name' if the debtor account is Generic.
i.e. If it is a Cash Sale account, it will show the first line of the delivery address, instead of Cash Sale in the name field.
Creditors (Master / Slave)
When dealing with invoices that are loaded against one Creditor, but paid against another (as for ITM), the system now shows details of the Original Creditor against the invoice when raising the payment against the Master Creditor.
Shopping Basket Changes
When a user now presses the 'Find' button in the shopping basket without specifying a value, it will now display the list of groups instead of the first product in the stock master.
ePOS - Crediting Customers
The system will now show a warning if there is already a credit against an existing invoice. This will help prevent staff crediting goods into stock more than once.
Debtors - Debtor List Report
There is now an option to print or email the 'Debtor list report' while excluding accounts that have been permanently closed. This option to exclude permanently closed accounts is also in the main 'Customer Sales & Credits analysis' report.
