Welcome Conscience
We have just employed a new staff member, Conscience Mhuka comes to us with a wealth of knowledge in accounting systems from working for some leading companies in New Zealand. Please 'go easy' on him for the first month while we get him settled in and up to speed with our World Leading Software.
His extension is 5006 and over the next few days his contact details will show up in 'Phone book' and the 'Contact eAccounts Staff' links (Both these can be found on the main menu).
The Phone Book In eAccounts
Our statistics tell us that few people use our powerful Phone Book option in eAccounts. On the main menu you have a image of a little phone, clicking on it will allow you to quickly:
- Find a Customer, Agent, Supplier, Staff Member, Creditor.
- Once found you will have their phone number and links to related contacts for that same company.
- And allow you to email the person straight from the phone book!
Nobody should be keeping little black books in their desks, its all in eAccounts and always available and upto date across your company know matter where you log into eAccounts.
Time to 'Blow Our Trumpets'
It's not often we get the chance to 'Blow Our Trumpets' but we are happy to see eAccounts reviewed in the June 2005 PC World Magazine alongside some of the more well-known accounting applications in New Zealand. Attached to everyone’s June invoice is a copy of the article, plus a table showing how our features compare to other accounting systems in the market.
Clearly eAccounts is well ahead of all other accounting systems when it comes to features!
Don’t Print GL Batch Reports
Some customers find that they get swamped with batch reports. Particularly the General Ledger ones. Since most of you running eAccounts keep your General Ledgers up to date and 'in balance', there is little need for these printed batch reports.
We now have the option to turn off the automated printing of GL batch reports when batches are posted. Note you can still reprint copies on demand.
Stock Reports Inc Description
The main Stock report program (First option on the Stock Reports Menu) now has the ability to print all products with a particular word in the description.
ie Print all stock with “Subaru” somewhere in the description.
