eMail Replies
Sometimes your staff may send us emails. Please note we reserve the right to copy in management with replies that are sent back to those staff. This is required to ensure all our communications are kept open and Managers are kept informed of what their staff are saying to us, and what our replies are.
GL & Creditors
The Creditors and General Ledger has had a “Long Narration” field added to each transaction. This allows 100 characters of text to be added to each transaction. This is useful for recording warranty info, Seriial numbers, notes about who/where an item was purchased etc.
Order Processing
For those of you using our online shopping basket for either raising orders internally or for cash sales done over the Net you will notice that we have adjusted the display colors so that each alternating line of stock lookups are a slightly different shade. This helps with readability.
Online Pricelists
A new feature in eAccounts is the ability to now set a shopping basket as a Price List lookup only. In this mode a customer (or Retail) can search your stock online but only see the appropriate price level and you optionally set if they see your Stock qty's
Stock Enquiry
The Stock enquiry now has two new features:
Display all specials for a Stock Item (Shows Which Customers Have This Item as a special)
Displays and Backorders loaded for a Stock Item (Shows Which Customers Are Waiting for this Item)
Debtors Enquiry
The Debtor enquiry now has two new features:
- Display all specials for a Customer
- Displays and Backorders loaded for a customer.
Three changes to the Customer enquiry screen:
- If the Customer (Debtor) is a Master accounts or is related to a Master Account the system will display a button for you to display all the related debtors and see their Sales figures. You can also click on one of the member customers in this Master list display their Customer Enquiry Screen.
- Only relevant buttons for the current Customer show on the screen. Ie The “Sales History” option button does not show if the Account has had no Sales and the “Last Paid” option for showing amounts paid wont show if the Account has no payments loaded against it. This all keeps the screen tidier ..
- There is a new Button called “Just One Click ” This is a powerful new feature that allows you to send a customer a link so they can view their own account. They can save the link and then use it indefinitely (or until you disable their access)
- It is called “Just One Click” because when your customer gets the email, they only need to click on the link and they instantly get access to their account.
- Customers of course need to have their email addresses loaded in the Debtor Master !
- The customer can only view Outstanding Invoices, History Invoices & Payments made. They cannot see costs or Margin.
- The customer can request copy Invoices and Statements themselves by email (PDF).
- This feature should stop some of your bigger customers bugging you for copy invoices, account balances, what's outstanding etc hence saving you time.
Customer Login
For those that allow customer to Login and raise their own orders you can now optionally allow them access to a button that takes them to the Account enquiry screen as discussed under “Just One Click ” above.
Shopping Basket
The main Shopping Basket has been further enhanced by allowing the table Header color font to be different than the text color used in the rest of the tables. This feature is only available in the Shopping basket at present and not throughout the rest of eAccounts (will eventually be done) This improvement has been done for customers integrating our shopping basket into existing websites whilst trying to keep the appearance close to uniform as possible.
Under Maintain iPages (That control what shows in the Shopping Basket) you can now optionally select a whole iPage to display only the stock where there is Stock On Onhand . Previously you needed to set this in the Stock Master stock Item by Stock Item. The option in the Stock Master is still their and still works but if its set against the iPage it will overrule the Stock Master flag.
ePos
For those of you using our ePos Point of sale system we have made some significant changes in version v412.20 onwards.
- Fixed a problem with barcode when you have more tha 14 lines on an invoice.
- Allows better control of selecting which terminals open the Cash draws on a cash sale. (Talk to Darron ext 5002
- Allows the selection of which cash types open the cash draw ie (don't open on eFTPOS)
- Allows orders on Hold in a PSLIP status to shows as committed stock in eAccount.
- We have also completely revamped the way you can search for product by description. This allows you to find products by specifying partial words ie “ pin mata ” would find “Te Mata Estate Pinot Gris” and do it almost instantly.
